Environmental Fee is a one-time fee charge per guest by El Nido’s local government during the duration of stay in El Nido.
Its official name is Eco-Tourism Development Fee (or ETDF). Established in 2008, its main purpose is to fund the environment and tourism-related projects of the local government.
